TNConnect is firmly committed to the privacy of our members and the users of our website. The following discloses the information gathering and dissemination procedures for our website: TNConnectCU.ORG and other online services for TNCONNECT members.

TNConnect Website

When you visit our website, we learn which pages you visited, when you visited and what content, if any, was downloaded. We use this information internally to determine how many people visit the site and which pages are visited most frequently. We record statistical information, but no specific information about the visitor is obtained. Any information we receive is never sold, given or disclosed to a third party.

The forms or applications on our site may require users to provide information used to process your request. We will protect that information and will only retain it while we process the request. No member information from our website is provided or sold to outside parties, unless we are required to do so by law. All information we receive is used to provide better service for our members.

Protecting the privacy of our younger members is especially important. For that reason, we never collect or maintain information at our website from those we know are under 13 without parental or guardian consent.

If you link to another site from any of our pages, you are leaving our site pages, and we cannot be held responsible for any information that may be gathered at a linked site. However, we make every effort to ensure that all linked sites follow similar privacy policies as ours to offer you maximum security and privacy.

TNConnect E-Mail and e-Source

When you send TNConnect email or when you ask us to respond to you by e-mail, we learn your e-mail address and receive the information that you include in the e-mail. We will use this information to acknowledge your comments and/or reply to your questions. Your e-mail address will not be sold, given or disclosed to any third parties.

TNConnect does provide an optional source of information on current promotions or services to our members through their email addresses. This newsletter, known as e-Source, will be sent to those members who have provided an e-mail address to TNConnect for that purpose. You can unsubscribe to e-Source by following the directions included with each e-Source edition.

Personal Internet Branch

TNConnect uses browser cookies with Personal Internet Branch (PIB) as a means of maintaining the integrity of your session. The cookies are required in order for PIB and other online services to function properly. We do not use those cookies for any other purpose and that information will not be provided to anyone else, unless required to do so by law.
