Slice

Slice is our personal finance management platform within Online Banking. It helps you manage your total financial picture by pulling all of your accounts into one location.  Regardless if those accounts are with TNConnect or not, you can view every account in one place – checking accounts, mortgages, retirement accounts, and more! You can also add bills or even income sources to help you forecast your day to day expenditures. Managing every slice of your financial picture has never been easier!

Mobile Banking – Mobile Devices

With TNConnect’s Mobile Banking you can view account balances, review account transactions, transfer funds, pay bills and more. Mobile Banking allows two ways to access your account: Send a text message to check your account balances and review recent account activity, or use a Mobile browser on your mobile device to check balances, review account activity and transfer money between accounts.

Online Bill Pay

Pay your bills with a click instead of a check with TNConnect’s online bill pay. This service is FREE to members using their TNConnect checking account with eStatements.  Make unlimited bill payments, set up recurring payments, view your payment history, or pay several bills at once.  It’s convenience at your fingertips!

Popmoney®

Popmoney is an innovative personal payment service that eliminates the hassles of checks and cash. Now, sending and receiving money is as easy as emailing and texting. You can send money to anyone with an email address or by text.  You can even customize your messages to send gifts! Available through our Bill Pay platform in Online Banking and also in our App in the Mobile Banking section.

eStatements

Why not simplify your life by having your statements available anytime online to view and print?  eStatements give you the ability to view your statements online.  When you sign up for eStatements you will stop receiving monthly statements in the mail and start receiving email alerts when your statement is ready for viewing.

Managing your finances is now easier than ever as you can be in your car, on your couch, or on-the-go! Through the app, you can:

Mobile Deposit

Save time and avoid a trip to the Credit Union when you need is to deposit a check.  Instead, you can simply deposit checks directly into your account through your mobile device.

To get started:

  1. Log into mobile App through your Apple or Android device.
  2. Tap the RDC tab and follow the simple enrollment process. You will be notified by email if your account has been activated***.
Additional Tips:
To make Deposits:
  1. Log in Remote Deposit through TNConnect Credit Union’s Mobile App
  2. Endorse the back of the check as “For mobile deposit only” and your signature
  3. Select Make Deposit from the Menu
  4. Select the Deposit Account
  5. Enter the amount of the check
  6. Take a photo of the front and back of the check
  7. Submit the check for deposit
  8. You must accept push notifications with Remote Deposit Capture to receive accepted and rejected deposit notifications. A message will be sent once the check has been reviewed and processed. If you have not accepted push notifications from TNConnect, proceed to the Review tab to verify the status of the check. Follow the Notification to change your settings if you wish to receive notifications on your device.
  9. Write the date under the endorsement on the back of the check for your later identification of the date you deposited the check.
  10. Securely store your check for 30 days after deposit.
  11. Once approved, the check will be deposited by 8 PM of that business day.
Check Image Tips:
  1. Take the photo against a background with a strong contrast between the check and the surrounding area
  2. Position the camera above the check so there is no angle
  3. Move any objects that show up in the picture away from the check
  4. Make sure the check is visible, contains all four corners, is well lit and in focus
  5. The check must contain a readable; check number, payee name and endorsement
  6. The check must contain a readable character (numeric) amount of the check and legal amount of the check
  7. The check must be drawn on an institution located within the United States
Check Safekeeping, Retention and Destruction:
  1. Mobile Deposit users are required to retain the original check for 30 days after the deposit has been transmitted to the credit union.
  2. This provides sufficient time for research in case there is an issue with the image quality or if the original item is required for any other reason
  3. The paper check should be stored in a secure place with “Mobile Deposit, DATE (where DATE is the full date you deposited the check by Mobile Deposit)
  4. Mobile Deposit users are required to securely and irretrievably destroy the original paper check after 30 days.
  5. Do not leave deposited checks lying around, do not put deposited checks in trash or recycle containers, unless they have been shredded first.
Funds Availability:
  1. Funds from your deposit generally will be available to you on the first business day after the day we receive your deposit.
  2. TNConnect reserves the right to place extended holds on checks as appropriate through the credit union’s Funds Availability Policy.

Use your TNConnect VISA cards via your smart phone. Just swipe or tap your card at checkout to complete your purchase. Android Pay, Apple Pay, or Samsung Pay are accepted anywhere you see this icon at checkout.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Download either the Android Pay, Apple Pay or Samsung Pay app to your phone, depending on your phone type.
