Report Suspicious Email


We are experiencing a high volume of reports from both members and non-members about receiving different types of phishing emails. These messages contain links to sites that spoof the TNConnect web site pages and our Personal Internet Branch (PIB) site.

These emails were NOT sent by TNConnect.

If you receive a fraudulent or suspicious email that uses the TNConnect logo, name, or website:

  • Do not reply to the email or click any links in the email message.

  • Forward it to us immediately at abuse at tnconnectcu.org. Do not remove or retype the subject line, or change the email in any way.

  • After forwarding the email, immediately delete it from your inbox.

  • If you clicked on a link in an email and provided any personal or account information, notify the credit union immediately.

  • If you clicked on a link in an email and provided your Online Banking Logon ID or Security Code (password), please change your Logon ID and Security Code immediately. Log into Online Banking using the link on our web site and press the Lock icon.  Select any or all of the following to change, Logon ID, Security Code (Password), Challenge Questions and/or Security Phrase.  These must ne changed in Online Banking and cannot be changed in Mobile App.

If you receive a fraudulent or suspicious email from another company or financial institution:

  • Do not reply to the email or click any links in the e-mail message.

  • Forward the email to the company directly, using an address you know to be correct or call them to report the email.

  • After forwarding the email, immediately delete it from your inbox.
