Scholarship
Each year tnConnect is proud to present a $1000.00 scholarship to an area high school student to help them jump-start their educational future. Applicants must be a member of the credit union with a checking account and debit card and are evaluated on their activities inside and outside of the classroom. tnConnect is proud to help its members get a head start on their education.

Coats for the Cold
Each year tnConnect serves as a collection point for Knox Area Rescue Ministries Coats for the Cold during the holiday season.
Cell Phones for Soldiers
tnConnect is proud to participate in Cell Phones for Soldiers, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing deployed and returning troops cost-free methods to communicate with family while serving in the United States military. From the recycling of used mobile phones and cash donations, the organization has raised more than $7 million, collected more than 8.3 million cell phones and provided troops overseas with more than 114 million minutes of free talk time. Second Harvest Backpack Program
Since 2008, tnConnect has participated in the Second Harvest Backpack Program. The Back Pack program allows children to leave each Friday from school with eight nutritious items to eat over the weekend. The goal of the program is that no child goes hungry over the weekend.
