Helping Local Schools
We believe in the power of community—and that begins with supporting our youngest members. As the new school year approaches, many local families are facing rising costs for essential school supplies. Our Connect Cares team is proud to host a School Supply Drive to support local students in 2 elementary schools.
Join us in making a difference in our community! Through July 31, we’re collecting new school supplies to ensure students have the tools they need to start the school year strong. Whether you donate a single pack of pencils or a backpack full of supplies, your support matters! Visit here for a list of supply needs for West Haven Elementary and Seymour Primary School. Any donations should be new, unopened items and can be dropped off in the lobbies of either tnConnect branch.
Tax-Free Weekend
Do your back-to-school shopping tax-free! Tennessee's traditional sales tax holiday on clothing, school supplies and computers begins at 12:01 a.m. on Friday, July 25, 2025, and ends at 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, July 27, 2025. During this time clothing, school supplies and computers may be purchased tax-free. Learn more here.
