From organizing financial literacy workshops, participating in local charity events, providing needed resources, and celebrating our local heroes - Connect Cares plays a vital role in promoting financial well-being by making a positive impact.
May 2026 - Connect Cares for Children Campaign
May marked our 2nd annual Connect Cares for Children fundraising campaign, this year benefitting Dolly Parton Children's Hospital! This initiative allows us to support exceptional pediatric care right here in East Tennessee. We're excited to continue this meaningful tradition of supporting children's health in our community. April 2026 - Superheroes in Our Communities
April was dedicated to celebrating the real superheroes among us! Connect Cares recognized the individuals who serve, protect, and inspire our communities every day. From local pharmacy staff and veterinary clinic workers to military service members, we honored those who quietly make our neighborhoods safer, healthier, and stronger. These everyday heroes embody the spirit of service that makes our community special.
March 2026 - Celebrating Excellence: Member of the Quarter
We were proud to honor Bud as our Member of the Quarter! A loyal member who has relied on tnConnect Credit Union for many important life events, Bud truly embodies the credit union philosophy of People Helping People. His continued trust and loyalty to the credit union throughout the years remind us why we do what we do. We're honored to have members like Bud who demonstrate what it means to put people first.
February 2026 - Protein Drive for Second Harvest
February brought a powerful opportunity to fight hunger in our community! Connect Cares partnered with Second Harvest of East Tennessee for a Protein Drive, collecting over 375 pounds of non-perishable foods that will provide approximately 312 meals to neighbors facing hunger across our service area.
January 2026 - Emerald Youth Foundation Dinner
We kicked off 2026 by serving our community's youth! Connect Cares brought pizza to an Emerald Youth Foundation Wednesday night gathering, feeding young people and supporting the important work that Emerald Youth does to mentor and guide the next generation. This was a great start to another year of making a difference together!
