Report Suspicious Email

We are experiencing a high volume of reports from both members and non-members about receiving different types of phishing emails. These messages contain links to sites that spoof the TNConnect web site pages and our Personal Internet Branch (PIB) site.

These emails were NOT sent by TNConnect.

If you receive a fraudulent or suspicious email that uses the TNConnect logo, name, or web site:

  • Do not reply to the email or click any links in the email message.
  • Forward it to us immediately at abuse at tnconnectcu.org. Do not remove or retype the subject line, or change the email in any way.
  • After forwarding the email, immediately delete it from your inbox.
  • If you clicked on a link in an email and provided any personal or account information, notify the credit union immediately.
  • If you clicked on a link in an email and provided your Personal Internet Branch (PIB) Logon ID or Security Code (password), please change your Logon ID and Security Code immediately. Log into the Personal Internet Branch (PIB) using the link on our web site, go to the User Options section of Personal Internet Branch (PIB) navigation, select Change Password.

If you receive a fraudulent or suspicious email from another company or financial institution:

  • Do not reply to the email or click any links in the e-mail message.
  • Forward the email to the company directly, using an address you know to be correct, or call them to report the email.
  • After forwarding the email, immediately delete it from your inbox.

Thank you for being alert to suspicious email and for reporting it!
